Bulldog Licensing has announced details of new deals for Monkey, the star of the advertising campaigns for ITV Digital and PG Tips.
Monkey’s double act with comedian Jonny Vegas is famed as one of the most popular ad campaigns to ever appear on the small screen and has turned Monkey into a cult character.
Bulldog has already signed Posh Paws for plush and GB Eye for posters. The new deals will see Danilo producing Monkey greetings cards and calendars, while Bluebird Brands has signed an agreement to produce a range of products including fashion bags, laptop bags, plush bags and purses as well as a homewares line that will include aprons, hot water bottles, mugs and tea towels.
“These new deals are evidence of the huge excitement surrounding Monkey in licensing circles,” says Bulldog Licensing MD, Rob Corney. “We are currently in talks with a range of other prospective partners from the mobile content to the gift sectors and are receiving particularly strong interest from publishing and apparel.”
