Developing into a cult classic in the UK thanks to strong broadcast on the BBC, Batfink became an enduring counterpoint to superhero brands such as Batman and The Green Hornet and has remained a firm favourite for many ever since.

Battling against his nemeses such as Hugo-a-go-go, Napoleon Blownapart and Skinny Minny, Batfink went on to save society from the scourge of lyrical bad guys across 100 episodes, each of 5 minutes in length.

Bringing the exploits of the world’s favourite steel-winged bat to a new generation, the BBC once again screened episodes of the show throughout 2009 on the CBBC channel and during the Saturday morning kids’ magazine shows, delivering huge audiences on a regular basis.

Batfink is available on DVD, published by 2 Entertain. Available from all good retailers alongside Poetic Gem for apparel including t-shirts and lounge pants which are now available in Asda, adult dress up from Smiffys and publishing due to launch in 2011 from Egmont, fans of Batfink have the perfect opportunity to celebrate this cult classic.
